Elijah Elsberry was born with Spina Bifida, a condition that has shaped his perspective while never limiting his determination. At the age of 10, he was introduced to adaptive athletics through the Idaho Youth Adaptive Sports Camp in 2011. What began as an opportunity to try new sports quickly became a lifelong passion, opening the door to competition, personal growth, and a strong sense of community. Through athletics, Elsberry has built confidence, embraced new challenges, and developed lasting friendships while gaining experiences that extend far beyond the playing field. Proud to represent Idaho, he values the opportunities adaptive sports have provided and is grateful for the coaches, volunteers, teammates, and mentors who have supported him throughout the years. Those experiences continue to fuel his commitment to growing as an athlete and giving his best in every opportunity.
